Sickness is an inevitable part of life. Here's our current policy on how to handle it. Please keep in mind that this is subject to change, and if you have questions, please feel free to reach out by phone!
If YOUR THERAPIST was exposed to any contagious illness, and is NOT showing any signs or symptoms, they will wear a face mask and maintain a distance of about 6 feet as much as possible throughout your session. Your therapist may choose to reschedule your session, or offer telehealth instead.
If YOU were exposed to any contagious illness, and are NOT showing any signs or symptoms, we ask that you consider wearing a face mask for the duration of our session with you. This is to limit the chance of our therapist catching and transmitting anything that will affect the rest of our clients. You may also request to reschedule for a later time, or switch to telehealth for that visit.
If YOU OR YOUR THERAPIST is showing signs and symptoms of a contagious illness (cold, flu, etc.), the session will be canceled at no penalty to you. Please help us keep ourselves and our other patients healthy! Please please please tell us if you're experiencing fever, chills, body aches, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, or any other symptom that makes you wonder if you might be sick.
For you and our therapists, we consider it safe to resume regular sessions when you have been fever free (without fever reducers) for 24 hours, or after your symptoms have improved.
Your therapist will not be masked unless they exposed to a contagious illness and have no symptoms. You may also request that your therapist wear a face mask while working with you. Your comfort and safety are our top priority.
